Clearview Library Bookmobile Resumes Service

Clearview Library District News

The Clearview Library District’s bookmobile — the mobile library — will resume regular routes with limited service on Monday, May 18.

The bookmobile visits neighborhood stops in the three communities the Clearview Library District serves, bringing library materials and services to community members who may not have access to the Windsor-Severance Library.

The bookmobile will deliver requested materials and will accept returns. For the safety of staff members and the community, the following procedures will be in place at each stop:

  • Delivered Materials — Items placed on hold will be distributed outside of the bookmobile in paper shopping bags with the patron's last name and first initial. Materials that aren’t picked up at the stop nearest to the patron’s home address will return to the library, due to limited space on the bookmobile. Patrons will then need to call the library at 970-686-5603 to arrange Library Takeout service. After five days of inactivity, the holds will be canceled and the materials returned to the shelf.
  • Returned Materials — Items to be returned will be collected via the blue bins left outside the bookmobile. The district will also collect Weld RE-4 School District and Windsor Charter Academy library books.

At this time, patrons will not be allowed on the bookmobile. Community members are encouraged to maintain 6 feet of distance from one another, and to wear masks.
