The Clearview Library District will launch the beginning of a community-oriented strategic planning process with a community feedback survey. The survey is available online at https://www.surveymonkey.com/
The survey is one component through which the library will gather community input to develop a three-year Strategic Plan to guide the district’s future efforts, including services, programs, and resources.
“The 2020 - 2022 strategic planning process is focused on extensive community engagement,” said Director Ann Kling. “We’re looking to hear from the community — through a variety of ways — to drive the plan and vision for the future.”
In addition to the online survey, the library will have postcard survey questions, white board comments at rotating locations, community meetings, engagement on social media, and one-on-one interviews.
Input will be provided to an all-volunteer Advisory Group, representative of the district, for review and development of the plan. The Advisory Group will hold their first meeting June 5. A draft of the plan is scheduled for release in August, with final adoption by the Library Board anticipated in September.
Sheryl Trent of SBrand Consulting will guide and facilitate the district’s strategic planning process.
